Programs Overview
Afrinova ImpactTrek runs two main volunteer programs designed for different age groups and levels of independence:
High School Volunteer Program
(Under 18)
- Structured & Supervised: Ideal for students during summer, winter, or vacation breaks
- Close Supervision: Participants are closely supervised at all times and are not permitted to go out without a supervisor
- Safety Standards: Alcohol and smoking are strictly prohibited
- Focus: Emphasizes safety, education, and cultural immersion
Regular Volunteer Program
(18 and above)
- Flexible & Open: For adults, students, and professionals on gap years or career breaks
- Balanced Approach: Offers a balance of support and independence
- Self-Directed Growth: Allows participants to explore, contribute, and grow at their own pace
- Diverse Opportunities: Wide range of programs across multiple destinations
